Apple Pencil Retainer Tab & Holder for PIVOT iPad Case

Apple Pencil Retainer Tab & Holder for PIVOT iPad Case

Welcome to the original Apple Pencil Retainer Tab & Holder for the Pivot iPad Case.

This project began with a simple goal: keep the Apple Pencil secure without making it cumbersome to remove. What started as a quick idea evolved through multiple design iterations, countless test prints, and valuable feedback from working pilots and instructors. Every change, from the retention geometry to the overall feel, was driven by real-world use.

I released the design because I believe practical tools become even more valuable when they’re shared with the community that inspired them.

The STL is available under the Standard Digital File License for personal use. Print as many as you like for yourself. If you’d like to print and sell this design or a derivative work, please honor the license and contact me first.

I believe the pilot community benefits when creators openly share useful tools while respecting the rights of the people who create them.

If you don’t have a printer, I’ll happily print one and send it to any pilot, anywhere in the world. I don’t want to make money on these. Just cover the actual postage and I’ll take care of the rest!

If you’d like one, send me a message with your shipping address and your iPad/Pivot case model.
